Our Story
Howdy Y'all! Ms. Shay here, at C Bar C! Welcome to the C Bar C Family! We are so blessed that we can gather together with fresh air & horse hair, in a faith-based, family-centered environment that always strives to put human and equine well-being above all else.

I have been teaching riders of all ages and abilities since 2006, and it is my goal to RIDE for Jesus, and shine His light on this trail ride of life!
With an EAGALA Education in Equine Therapy, a masters degree and multiple teaching certifications as my guide, I have written the very special & unique C Bar C Riding Curriculum. We encourage all riders to work heartily for the Lord, and for their horse, in all that they do & say! (Col. 3:23)

I truly believe that with love, time, encouragement and support, each rider can reach their horsemanship goals.

I am a Mama, a Special Education Teacher, an ACSI counselor and I love Jesus. C Bar C Farms started with a dream and a family, and has become the place for Faith, Family, Farm & Freedom to come together.

My 3 daughters started out with Ms Shay last summer at her week long horse camp. They now attend weekly lessons. Ms Shay and all her horses are amazing and my girls have built lasting relationships with her and their lessons horses. Each week they learn proper riding techniques, proper care and handling of their horse and so much more. Ms Shay also incorporates God into her camps and lessons which is important to our family. We love C bar C and everything it stands on and for.
